Tefficient is excited to introduce a new Baltic operator benchmark launching in 2026.
Building on thirteen years of experience with our Nordic operator benchmark, this new initiative applies the same proven methods and analytical rigor to the Baltic region.
Soon, operators in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia will have the opportunity to compare their performance with local peers – gaining valuable insights, identifying improvement areas, and guiding strategic decisions.

In an international comparison, operators in the Baltic countries stand out. The customers of the operators also stand out when it comes to usage, behaviour and expectation of quality:

With:
- World-leading mobile data usage,
- High fibre availability – established long before other parts of Europe,
- Yet with commerically successful FWA offers,
Baltic operators that want to take their performance to the next level will find that there’s limited guidance from outside the region. That’s why Tefficient introduces a Baltics-specific benchmark open only to operators in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia in 2026. The benchmark will follow this timeline:

The timeline is preliminary. We welcome your feedback on it including how to best handle the summer vacation period.
Our benchmark is unique in that it is 100% fact-based, without modifications or assumptions. This means that it accurately reflects the reality of the operators and their performance, allowing for meaningful comparisons and insights.

A total of 10 operators are invited to participate in this benchmark, which covers a wide range of key performance indicators (KPIs) across 53 functions and 300 pages. The identities of the participating operators are confidential, and the results of the benchmark are only available to them.
The benchmark is an integrated operator benchmark that allows for comparisons between operators with different mixes of mobile and fixed services in their integrated business. It is also possible to participate as a pure mobile or fixed operator.
The total number of KPIs is 962.

Our benchmark covers a wide range of key performance indicators (KPIs) across 53 functions and 300 pages. This allows us to provide a comprehensive and detailed view of the performance of participating operators.
Just like the Nordic operator benchmark, the Baltic operator benchmark comes with a fixed participant fee per country operator.
If you are among the 10 operators invited to participate in this year’s benchmark, we encourage you to contact us for more information. We are here to help you improve and succeed.
